Chocoholic wishlist

I have many guilty pleasures but chocolate is by far my gultiest. It's not so much the taste of chocolate but more the smell that I love hence why I go crazy when it comes to chocolate scented products. Hoping to get my hands on these goodies to satisfy my chocolate cravings.

Soap and Co Nail Kit

The good thing about being stuck at home because of the snow means I get to have an all day pampering session. This is where I whip out my bath bomb, face mask and nail kit.
This one is my absolute favourite I only ended up buying it because as I was walking through Westfields I got stopped by one of those Soap and Co sales rep people. Usually I ignore them but the woman was so lovely I was like well ok I suppose there is no harm trying it out. I'm so glad I did because this stuff is actually ah-mazing!

The kit I got was in passion fruit. It comes with a nail file, a nail buffer which makes the nails unbelievably super shiny, cuticle oil and hand/body lotion. The lotion smells divine and lingers on the hands all day. Also the fact that it's got ingredients from the dead sea as it's made in Israel means it leaves your skin smooth soft and protected. It's also light and refreshing rather then heavy and greasy.

This was in the sales down from £35 to £25 but I only paid £20 as I was with my friend and the woman made us a deal that she would sell us 2 for £40.

Secret to smooth soft lips

Already on my second pot. Absolutely loveee this stuff!!
Unlike other exfoliaters this one is actually made out of real sugar crystals that provide enough gentle exfoliation to turn dry chapped up old lips into a lushcious (pun intended) pout. The sugar crystals are the perfect size meaning they do the job without leaving the lips raw afterwards.
This pot is only £4.99 which is fairly cheap considering it lasts for quite a long period of time.
Application is really simple just apply it onto your lips, leave it on for around 5 mins and as it's bubblegum flavoured you can actually lick it right off. Just tastes divine.

The Angels Arrive

FINALLY!!! Victoria's Secret is coming to London this summer with a store opening up on New Bond Street. I have been waiting pretty long for this day to come so to say I am excited is an understatement. Seems I'm not the only one feeling the summer as Victoria's Secret has already launched it's 2012 swimwear collection. The fact that it's opening in the summer means I will be able to get my hands on their stunning swimwear.

Bath time with LUSH!

Went shopping to Westfield yesterday and stopped off at Lush of course where I picked up a few goodies. One of them included my all time favourite Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic.

"Drop into a pre-run bath for a sensual, pink, fizzy, jasmine-scented soak"

Nothing like a long, and when I say long I mean lonnng (2 hours), relaxing bath with lush. I just love how the smell lingers on me afterwards.

Ways to avoid looking like a walking advert for tango

Let's start with the F word shall we? and no I'm not talking about Gordon Ramsey's kitchen I am in fact talking about foundation. The whole point of foundation is to create a flawless, picture perfect finish. So be sure to apply it in light layers to avoid looking like the top of a birthday cake. When choosing your foundation make sure to pick a colour that melts into your skin tone. Whatever you do don't pick a colour that's ten times darker otherwise you'll end up looking like Jack o lantern. I mean fair enough if you're going for that orange look, but a kind word of advice... if a guy wanted to date an orange he would rather turn to his fruit bowl instead just saying. The same applies to those who pick a colour ten times lighter then their natural skin tone. Why anyone would want to look like they haven't stepped foot in the sun for almost 5 years is beyond me.

If you're feeling rather pale however then that is where the bronzer and self-tanner come in. Understand that the whole point is to make it look like you've caught a natural tan and not like you've caked yourself in mud. Make sure when applying the self-tanner you rub it in properly to avoid looking like a candy cane as streakiness is not a good look for anyone.
Personally I would never apply fake tan myself I would stick to a professional as I know it would come out looking uneven which is why I stick to gradual tanning moisturiser for it helps gradually build and maintain a light natural looking tan.

The two all time favourite self-tanner's I swear by are:

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Gradual Tan Lotion 250ML

"This creamy, moisturising lotion, with a special combination of pure Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E, is the perfect way to keep your skin beautiful and soft with a natural looking glow.
With just a touch of self tanner, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze creates a delicate, sun kissed, summer glow all year long. Gradually build a subtle tan within a few days, while deeply moisturising your skin. From fair to medium to dark, control the intensity of your skin tone all year round."

Dove Summer Glow Daily Face Moisturiser

"Gradually builds a beautiful light summer tan."

No surprise she's the face of 'Guess'

So recently decided to watch 'The Rum Diary' online as I love Johnny Depp films, kinda late watching it I know but whatevs, and gotta say I was a lil disappointed. I mean it wasn't that bad but I felt the movie dragged on at times and the ending to me just seemed incomplete. The trailer seemed way better then the actual film.

But all that can be forgiven because Amber Heard who played Chenault in the film looked beyond stunning which actually made me rather depressed. The same way I get when watching the Victoria Secret Fashion Shows. Those bitchesss.  But at the same time motivates me to stick to my diet.

I just love the glamorous vintage Hollywood style she's got going on.
